It includes 44 criteria divided into four groups and is supported by over 385 compliance indicators. The areas included focused on the environment, sustainable management, social-economic impact, and cultural heritage. Applicable indicators vary by geographical area and local factors. The Standard covers three different levels ranked from lowest to highest being; Certified, Gold & Platinum. The certification is confirmed annually and requires that more than 50% of the criteria’s related indicators are achieved.
