Tanja Lagoon Camp

The nature of this special place is our inspiration and driving force. On the edge of a wild coastal lagoon, surrounded by the Spotted Gum forests of Mimosa Rocks National Park on the Sapphire Coast of NSW, this land is a gift to be nurtured and shared.  We invite you here to immerse yourself in it.  In its recent history, the land has been used as a sawmilling site, a dairy farm, then a B&B establishment. Now it is evolving into a Wilderness Camp, a place where growth, renewal, and connectivity are the core business. Your hosts here at Tanja Lagoon Camp are Sam, Loz, Amber, and Jasper. Twen...

Twenty years ago David and Libby Bright (Sam’s parents) took on the custodianship of this magnificent site. Since then the family has been on a continuous journey of repair and restoration.

They have removed all the barbed wire fences and planted over 7000 native trees and shrubs to restore native habitat and establish a safe corridor for wildlife to travel through the property.
